- 【INTRODUCTION】
- Space Huggers is a run-and-gun roguelike platformer where you are an elite rebel soldier tasked with wiping out empire outposts on remote planets. Explore procedurally generated levels using your arsenal of destruction - shoot, roll, and throw grenades to eliminate all invaders. Navigate through fully destructible environments with fire propagation and explosion systems. You have 10 lives to start, gaining 3 more after each mission.

- • Roll to extinguish fire if you catch flame
- • Rolling also deals melee damage to nearby enemies
- • Hold jump button near walls to climb up vertical surfaces
- • Jump-flip combo: Roll immediately after jumping for extra height
- • Grenade jumping: Use grenade explosions to reach high places
- • Keep distance from Specialists (white) - they're ninja-fast with rolls and flips
- • Aim for explosive barrels near enemy groups for massive damage
- • Use radar at screen bottom to track remaining enemies

- • Recruit (Green): Shorter, more hesitant, takes 1 hit to kill
- • Soldier (Blue): Average height and ability, takes 2 hits
- • Captain (Red): Climbs walls, jumps frequently, takes 3 hits
- • Specialist (White): Elite ninja with constant jumping and rolling, takes 4 hits
- • Demolitions Expert (Purple): Throws grenades, fireproof, takes 5 hits
- • Heavy Weapons Variant: Any type with double health and full-auto firing

- • Plastic Crate (Brown): Burns easily, breaks when fully burnt
- • Metal Crate & Barrel (Gray): Hard to destroy, fireproof

- • Explosive Crate & Barrel (Green): Burns and explodes after few seconds
- • High Explosive Barrel (Red): Quick massive explosion
- • Rock (Various Colors): Heavy, very durable, crushes enemies, fireproof

- 【STORY】
- ========================================
- The empire is spreading like a plague across the galaxy, building military outposts on remote planets to expand their tyrannical control.
- You are an elite rebel soldier, specially trained in demolition and infiltration. Armed with only a rifle, a handful of grenades, and 10 clone bodies, you've been dropped onto hostile alien worlds.
- Your mission: Explore these strange planets and completely eliminate every empire presence. Each base must be cleared before moving to the next world. The empire keeps sending reinforcements, making each mission progressively harder.
- You have limited lives. Use them wisely. Good luck, rebel - and give space a hug for us!
