Mouse Heist is a stealth roguelite extraction game where you play as a scrappy little mouse sneaking through a midnight kitchen. Dodge the patrolling cats, loot every shelf and counter you can reach, and get out alive through the rat hole before your nerves give out.

Every run pits two pressure systems against each other: your Exposure meter rises as you linger near cats, and your Composure slowly drains each time a cat catches up to you. Hit zero on either and the run is over. Between runs, convert your haul at the Black Market for Mice Coins and spend them on permanent upgrades in the shop — better stealth, bigger backpacks, higher payout rates. Unlock new and more dangerous kitchen maps as your nest value grows, and expand your base with crafting, gacha pulls, and a full item codex.

With procedurally placed loot spots and a meta-progression system that keeps each run feeling fresh, Mouse Heist is built for players who love the tension of a good extraction loop. One more run is always just one escape away.

How to Play

  1. Use WASD to move your mouse around the kitchen map.
  2. Walk near a yellow search circle and click (or press Space) to loot — higher-rarity items take longer to reveal.
  3. Watch your Exposure bar: the more cats see you, the faster it fills. When it maxes out, the cat charges directly at you.
  4. Stand inside the green rat hole and hold still to begin the extraction timer — any movement cancels it.
  5. Manage your backpack weight limit: drop lower-value items to make room for rare finds.
  6. After extraction, choose to cash out your loot or store it in the nest for later.
  7. Visit the Black Market shop between runs to spend Mice Coins on permanent upgrades.
